This post has nothing to do with Zebras
A car stopped for me at the zebra crossing today
I was filled with shock and excitement, the reason is not far fetched, while we know it’s the right thing to do, we still somehow expect otherwise.
I was shocked because it is not a normal practice in Nigeria here, the last time a car stopped for me at the zebra crossing was when I was in covenant university.
Is it that we’re always in a hurry or we just don’t care?
I was excited because it means there’s a glimpse of hope that there are still humans out there who will do the right thing even if it seems kinda awkward. I mean the guy had to wave at the other cars to stop as well. I could hear it loud and clear what the guys in the other cars were saying in their mind (shey hin leg Dey pain am).
But it’s something to be excited about, innit?
Doing the right thing may seem easy, but it’s pretty difficult to do the right thing when everybody is doing otherwise. But I encourage you to do the right things regardless.
You may have been working really hard and it doesn’t seem to be paying off, I want to encourage you not to compromise. I’m not a prophet I’d have prophesied that your hustle begins to pay. But I’m a child of God and I pray for you that your hustle will begin to pay off.
And if you’re doing the wrong things already, it’s not too late to make a U-turn to doing the right things.
Someone may be saying, what is the difference between right and wrong? Who is the judge of that? The truth is we know them, and I don’t need to preach it again.
”That everyone is doing it, doesn’t make it right”
Peace out ✌️🏽
Before you die, live.
My message; do the right thing even if it seems awkward.
So I have a YouTube Channel where I host the series ”Behind the Scene” clink on the link below to see it.
