What do you picture when you think of the perfect or ideal leader? Flawless communicator, someone who always has the right answer, someone who carries along an inspiring aura, fearless, well dressed – depends on what you mean, well built physically – just kidding.
I agree these characteristics are somewhat important, however, would he or she be any less ideal if they stutter frequently, admit to being afraid or don’t know what to do?
It’d be better if we have more realistic expectations of leaders, We’d help them see themselves as not being invincible and hopefully, we’d become better leaders if we embrace our vulnerabilities.
Leaders can ask for help, stutter and sometimes express themselves in ways they like to.
Leaders are humans too.
