setting priorities

It’s not enough to be busy, but what are you busy about?

        Setting Priorities

To every man, something’s are regarded as more important than others and that’s as a result of priority. Our lives are centered on what we do. We are in an era that tells us to keep rushing from the days of our childhood till the days of our adulthood. Such a living has made us follow through and make mistakes overtime because we have in one way or the other confused important stuff with urgent stuff. It’s not enough to be busy, but what are you busy about?

We must learn to take charge of our lives, so as not to be distracted by all issues that storms our way. Our priorities are determined by the scale of preference you have for your life, to be able to hold yourself mentally accountable for every single decision you make no matter how big or small each decision is. If your priorities can be sufficiently simplified, it lays the foundation for discovering life purpose and obtaining a genuine sense of achievement and satisfaction.

The importance of learning how to set priorities for your life cannot be overemphasized because it is needed to having an efficient life, but it doesn’t always have to be difficult ( though as different individuals, our priorities are meant to differ).

Don’t Judge me yet

You probably must have seen people been traumatized for years over a broken relationship, that’s because of the priority they gave to that relationship. But if one has learnt to make flexible his/her priorities, such can do away with heart-break within the shortest possible time; a day or two maybe (I know someone would say “see how he’s talking as if it’s easy”, but I tell you, it is).

Remember, what’s on the top of the list of your scale of preference affects every other thing on the list. Therefore, take your time to be flexible in decisions that regards to life issues. Learn to channel your energy to other aspect of your life when it seems one isn’t working as planned.

You are likely to reach your goals when you take time to set your priorities.
