We probably must have heard some music and in the course of listening, you were like “mehn, na hunger make this person discover say ein get talent for music o” (pardon my language, but that’s how we say it in Nigeria to bring out the fun).
This can be as a result of several reasons. Probably while the instrumental was tending towards the right, the singer was singing in equal and opposite direction to the left or maybe the singer don’t even know how to change from one key note to another, so he/she was singing what I call “BUNCH OF KEYS”.
This type of thing is very common in our days, not only in music but in all skills (dancing, sports, acting etc) you can think of, we can easily see unprofessionalism in almost everything around us this days. There’s no human on earth that doesn’t have a talent (in other words, potential; which I might use interchangeably in this write-up) but very few gets to discover and use theirs in their life time, while others go to the grave with theirs.
Talent is a skill that someone naturally can do without struggle; it is such a high degree of ability that is in everyone which is meant to be a solution to problem(s). However, few people are less concerned or adamant about what’s in them while they go about chasing other affairs of life (which sometimes work, and for others it doesn’t work out fine), while others would wait for the pressures of life to hit on them first before they start looking inward (which is the case of most people).
We have all somehow been under pressure in our lives either from our jobs, homes, family, friends, schools or even a relationship but we don’t have to wait for all these to throw a blow at us before we begin to channel the course of our lives via our inward abilities. Because while we wait, it probably might be too late and the energy that is needed to exhibit our potentials might be long gone and in our efforts to cook up something in order to keep up survival and it doesn’t work, then frustration sets in.
If you grew up in a Nigeria home, you might have experienced a scolding from your parent on certain occasions and after the scolding, you went back to your room, laid down on your bed and started thinking. In the course of your thinking exercise, you begin to get inspiration of songs (that kind of slow, heart-breaking song in form of worship) and what you can do with life outside the confinement of the home OR as a guy, after being in a relationship with a lady for years, she walks up to you one day and calls it a QUIT and her reason is simple “BECAUSE SHE HAS FOUND SOMEONE WHO CAN MEET HER FINANCIAL NEEDS“.
I bet you, that night would be a sleepless one for you, and all that would go through your mind is how to become wealthy and ways in which you can achieve that legitimately. Then you start looking inward on what you can do – which probable you haven’t done before.
With these two simple illustrations, you now understand what I mean by PRESSURED POTENTIALS. These are just two out of the countless pressures that various individual might face in their own way. However, we don’t have to let it get to this point of being pressured before we showcase our endowments. Get yourself engaged today and find out what your talents are, so you can tap into the stream of amazing resources that would make you a solution to your world.
What is your pressured potential??
