WINNING AT YOUR WORK PLACE 2 (EPILOGUE)
Statistically, you might have noticed that people struggle with their jobs & life satisfaction issues. It is disheartening to engage hard in a job, yet you don’t receive satisfaction & fulfilment from “that work”. After pouring your life into a job, you come out without feeling fulfilled or having anything to show for it. At the end of it all, you discover that you have spent your life helping to make someone else rich while you are left with little or nothing to show for you years of labor.
In our society today there seems to be lack of meaningfulness & PURPOSE in our everyday life. People are fairly contented with their lives, whereas, there’s this inner prompting that keeps telling us THERE’S MORE SIGNIFICANCE TO LIFE THAN WHAT WE ARE CURRENTLY EXPERIENCING.
I know your current job might not be what you dreamt off, you had a bigger picture than where you are now. But this shouldn’t be a reason for you to live life on a surface level or pursue a series of emotional highs that leaves you empty and constantly searching for the next thrill to satisfy them. Don’t live a life with the GOAL of retirement to enjoy benefits and pension. If all you have to look forward to after working for years and for other people is a gold chain & pension, then your life is a tragedy in the making.
I urge you to see where u are now as a ladder to where you ought to be. Be purpose driven, strive to leave this earth not on a pension but on a purpose. Let money not be your motive to work because that’s an inferior reason to work but you must work for a vision that’s embedded within you.
CHANGE WILL ALWAYS UPSET PPLE WHO ARE CONTENT TO BE STAGNANT, BUT THAT SHOULDN’T STOP YOU. YOU SHOULD BE KNOWN FOR YOUR UNIQUENESS (Dr. Myles Munroe).
Remember, WHATEVER YOUR HANDS FIND TO DO, DO IT WITH ALL YOUR MIGHT (Ecclesiastes 9:10).
