In a match between Brazil and Cameroun surely Brazil would be the favourites but that would seem too cliché, many people would also like to see the mighty fall, everyone loves an underdog story – that’s what appeals to people.
Being the weaker or smaller side is not always a disadvantage.
It could mean that although you don’t have all the necessary resources or abundant resources, people are willing to help you. It could mean that you have the opportunity to connect with most people because they’ve been there, It could mean that you can get away with not doing everything right. 🙂
It also means that you can’t afford to stay longer in that underdog position. Underdog stories are becoming cliché too
