How to get value for time!
Have you ever felt like you’ve wasted your time, although you were busy all through the day but unfortunately it seems you can’t point a finger at one thing you were able to achieve for that day, it would be unfortunate if it is for a week or more.
I would have loved to say I haven’t had this kind of experience but that would be a lie. Before I realized the secret of getting value for time, I was a victim to busyness. In my mind I would be claiming to be a business man, but last last I was a busyness man.
I would leave the house by morning, return at night, coming back tired, attending meetings upon meetings, the one I needed to attend and the ones that didn’t concern me, all of it I would be there, I would get home extremely tired from doing nothing. No results to show, just activities.
I couldn’t account for how my time was spent; I needed more value for my time. Then I realized upon my research and quest for knowledge the importance of daily, weekly and monthly goal setting. Goal setting is a powerful force to help get value for your time.
Upon this knowledge I have been able to get more done in lesser time, I have results to show for my time out, I also have a lot of time to relax and enjoy myself, I also have a lot of time to do the thing I love the most, travel.
Before stepping out of your house, make sure to write down a list of vital things you must achieve that day, that’s very important to having value for your time and a fulfilled day and life. If you do this every day, after a month you’d be glad you did. Because you’d have achieved a whole lot you couldn’t have in the previous weeks and months.
Today’s challenge: share your to do list with someone to keep you accountable
