He will Rescue you
There is one constant thing I have observed in almost every action hero movies, they kidnap the actor’s girlfriend and then ask for a ransom or some sort of exchange. Most often than not, the girlfriend is always confident that her hero will come and rescue her. She believes so much in her hero, that no matter what happens she will be rescued.
Such confidence, some even add some attitude to it, spit on the villain and brag nothing can be done to her, because her boyfriend will save her. I remember one particular Indian movie I saw “Bang Bang”; the girl was even threatening the villain here.
But, the thing is, the hero always come up to rescue his girlfriend, even if it’s at the niche of time, something will happen and she will be rescued.
The real question is, even if it’s you that someone believes in, that much, wouldn’t you at least try to live to the name, and even if you can’t fight you’ll know people that can fight or at least know people that know people that can fight.
In psalms 13:5 Good news version, the psalmist said “I rely on your constant love; I will be glad, because you will rescue me.
I imagine David having this kind of confidence, even more when he said I will be glad, because you’ll rescue me. Such confidence, such audacity. When your confidence is placed on God you will say like David, I will be glad, because you’ll rescue me.
What do you place your trust on? Some trust in chariots, some in riches but we will remember the name of the Lord, because the name of the Lord Is a strong Tower the righteous run into it and they are saved.
Where will you run to in time of need? Who will you call upon?
It’s amazing because God is not even one action movie hero, neither is he David de gea his ability to save is amazing, just call on him and He will rescue you.
Today’s challenge: Play a song and put it on repeat the whole day
